Blown DS4-18

So I came across a CL add for a blown DS4-18. Is it worth picking up and rebuilding to a car audio sub with a smaller basket (I can't see myself running an 18" in my car anytime soon) and soft parts. I see that it's a 4" VC motor so I'd think it could be worth while, but looking for someone that maybe has experience or more info on this motor.

Stereo integrity makes great products. 220oz motor and 4" vc should be plenty for around 2-3k watts. They are great SQ subs that can get loud and low. If you can find the soft parts then you will not be disappointed

I don't plan on rebuilding this to an 18, or going with original softparts. I was mainly looking for a cheap (only because of the price not quality) motor to build a nice sub out of. I just didn't want to pick it up if the vc was going to be hard to find a good match for

I'd say it's worth it. Would be kind of a waste to go smaller than 15" imo
