man, woulda been done now, but my friend came over askn why hs 15 comp vr wasnt hitn ,,

i was like prolly cuz ur runnin the 500 watt rms sub off 1 channel out of a 4 channel amp

so he was getn bout 75 rms at 4 ohm

and he had 16 gauge ground wire with 8 gauge power,

He meant dowel...a wooden dowel from Home Depot. I use them all the time and they work great.

The box really is too small, as is the port area. You've got 4.25ft^3 of air space before any kind of port/sub displacement. After those you'll have about 3.5ft^3, leaving you only ~.44ft^3 for each sub. You only have ~4.5in^2 of port area for each sub, which is on the small side as well.

also, you're tuned between 33-34hz.

They should be alright, those sundowns don't need too too much room, but yes I will agree with you that that little extra room for them would've been better.
