It's slightly thinner

higher density screen

higher battery (claimed 5 hours talk time as opposed to 4 on the curve)

comes out in July (AT&T i believe. Probably more later)

T-Mobile generally follows right after AT&T or other way around depending who gets what first, but since this ones 3G it might take them a lil while longer. Gonna be nice to not run on EDGE anymore tho when they finally do. Last I was working they were upgrading everything to UMTS towers so it shouldn't be far off. Any kind of longer battery is awesome cause they run long as it is lol.

Does Verizon offer the Razor V2? I have to stick with Verizon because that's who I'm with now and they will pay a good amount towards a new phone.

Yeah they actually had it first. Good phone and Verizon is good on warranty in store so you'd be pretty set.

that one ^ but since you have Verizon it might not be as beneficial to you being the price is $249. Verizon tends to take a lot longer to get Blackberry products so the Curve might be your best route for now. Blackberry favors GSM because of it's worldwide capability. If you didn't need a camera on it I'd still opt for the 8800 series.

That does look cool, but the Curve is cheaper. I don't really need a camera, but once again the 8800 is $100 more.

its kinda funny its the only phone att offers that has all 5 stars for reviews. but yea i have one and its the best phone iv ever owned by FAR. tons of features and an amazing interface. also the camera and media players are very nice. and i LOVE the trackball, and keyboard.

I'm a rep at att and the curve is one of our best phones. good stable OS. GPS just as good at garmin or tom tom. its pretty much all you could want a phone to do. Plus the new 8310 curves from att have a built in flash for the camera. the buttons did move so on the oder version but not on the new one. and the track ball is way better than the side scroll wheel.

Can't you use a song that you download from your computer as your ringtone? Have you bought an extra memory card?

yes. it can use the first 30 seconds of one of your mp3's on your media player as your ringtone which you can transfer from your computer. the att ones come with the usb cable and software to do it with joo just need teh micro sd cardz

Aren't they about $16 shipped on Ebay?

Do the Curve's from other providers also come with the same stuff (usb, wall charger, car charger, etc...)?

yeah you can get a cheaper one online or wamart. I donno about the other carriers but all the blackberrys that att carries all come with the usb, charger, leather case, and battery.

Mine came with a wall charger and a USB cable, you move data between your PC and phone with the USB cable and Blackberry Desktop Manager.
