on the other hand, there is a place for everything. to be out in public saying n***a and cursing is just flat out wrong. u should have respect for others and for urself not to do that. im black and when i see blacks saying the N word in public, i feel ashame because to the white people who dont know anything about black people anyways, assumes everyone is just like that.

Also, I've wondered about the cold tolerance too. I think it has to do with us living in colder climates throughout history and they have mostly lived in really warm tropical climates. Some of the guys that work for me are from Ghana, Africa and they will wear 2 or 3 jackets in the winter (sweater, pull-over, then a big fluffy coat) just to stay warm. I make it in ohio with just a pull over almost all the time.

I from TN and did not use a coat this winter. I did wear a long sleeved shirt once or twice.

I couldn't agree more. I think the word " N igger" has been given a condescending meaning towards blacks when its just as easy for a white guy to be one as well. It is basically just meaning ignorant. Well it used to at least. Now at dictionary.com they say it is the most offensive word in the english language. WOW!

It's funny though...

When old white men come to our store and say "That nigger salesman was really helpful" and they are smiling about it.

I asked him how he felt about it. He said that the customer can call him anything he wants as long as he collects his commission.

i was at denny's the other night eating dinner and these 2 black guys came in and were talking loud enough for everyone in the restruant to hear them when they were 2 feet from each other, and then they were using ghetto slang and kept calling each other n*gga and what not. i was horribly offended and considered going and telling them they are one of the reasons many people have a negative perspective of black people. i wanted to go ask them if i could call them a n*gga also. but i figured i'd be called a racist then. and whats worse is they didnt have enough money to pay thier tab so they just left w/out paying. it was very annoying. how do you go out to eat and order everything when you know you dont have enough money to pay for it.

And what does that have to do with being black?.......that's the same as saying all blondes are bimbos and everyone who wears glasses are nerds.....checkout the tragedy with Vtech, you would have never thought an Asian guy would do that, but again that's buying into stereotypes.....a person's personality has nothing to do with the characteristics of a race

Pretty sure I've been in a restaurant where white people have done that, some asians have done that, definitely some hispanics have done that, and you get forget about those ****ing moon men(their loud SOB's). It probably would've pissed me off too but do you think those two pricks actually represent a whole race.

good for you, im glad you've seen other people do it. and no those 2 do not represent the whoel race, all i was saying is its people like that that give the whole race a bad name.

man, i remeber this one time like a year and a half ago, it was like one of the coldest days of winter, like 2 - 3 degrees outside withOUT the wind blowing and it was daytime and partly cloudy. i was on the bus and i saw this dude walkin down the street with his buddy and the dude didn't have a coat on!! he had a short sleeve shirt, like an old navy joint. i was stunned!!!!!

im a large guy, so cold weather doesnt bother me, unless its less than 40 degree's outside, im normally in a cutoff and shorts.

Any actions by members of a community represent that community. Because I work in the public (@ Lowe's) my actions outside of Lowe's still representsLowe's. If I am out and about and act like a jackass, customers will recall that when they see me there. Then they believe Lowe's is full of juvenile delinquents and such; thus hurting the store (my community). Sometimes it is enough for customers to not shop at the store.
You still have a fidicuiary duty to your community to always represent them properly.

Dave Chappelle and the such often poke fun at whites who speak clearly with proper grammar. I would rather be the heart of a joke that enhances the respect of white people than a part of jokes making fun of how blacks have bad credit and other, more negative things.

So I guess everytime I see some from Korea its time to run since Cho Seung-hui. I mean that means that every single Korean is packing two pistols and a bookbag of ammo so you betta get out the way when you see em. And also I guess that means since your white(i'm assuming) and you like to spend tons of money on car audio and make your trunk rumble I guess all white folks love to do the same thing.
