black clubs get on my nerves

now that I'm married I don't go out much at all, especially not to clubs and rarely black clubs since columbus doesn't have many and the ones they have keep closing down because of fights and crap. Last night for my friend's birthday we went to one though. They made us wait in line in the cold for 45 minutes just to get in and then were trying to charge $40 at the door (columbus doesn't warrant that much for ANY CLUB EVER). After we worked out a discount on the entrance fee we get in and there's barely anybody in that bish. Like less than 50 people in the club. As time goes on it slowly SLOWLY fills in and people start dancing. The special guests get there (Nelly, St. Lunatics, Bow Wow, and Jermaine Dupri) and the place finally livens up. But the night didn't go by without the usual fight in the middle of the club. My friend enjoyed himself, but I'm standing thinking the whole time that it was just a big waste of a club experience. I doubt the club even made a profit because most people in the line when I was waiting in line left because of the price at the door. They need to do like white clubs and not charge at all or only charge $5 and make their money off drinks. Went to a mixed club last weekend after UFC 96 and they charged $10 (usually only $5 but it was the Arnold Classic weekend) and the place was so packed you couldn't move. The club last night couldn't even totally fill up, even with rappers in the building.

Cliffs: black clubs have horrible business plans and aren't very fun for the money/time spent

i dont really like any clubs. funny story about a black club near me. my buddy and i were just checking the places out and went to this one club called the zebra strip. before i was done with my first drink some mexican chick looks at me and my friend who really looked out of place there and says to me "what are you smiling about" in a nasty tone. my buddy looks over at me and was like "lets get out of here before some one kick our ***, hurry and finish your drink" thought it was kind of funny how people there just looked at us and wanted us out of their club. what ever, you can have it. ill go to the bar down the street!

i dont even go to clubs any more man. If i do go out to that seen ill go to like a sports bar or a pool hall something like that. Less drama and better atmosphere.

Theres a prick in every crowd and a couple of weeks ago he was with me:crap: dude had already been banned from the club and we talked to the owner and talked him into letting him come back in and we assured him everything would be cool...needless to say a few drinks later the police was there tryin to haul his *** to jail...he snuck out and got in his truck and left before he got arrested...goes without saying he is back on the ban list....

I agree and [newsflash] they all **** in Cincinnati, NK too. I lived there 4 years for college and have to say the clubs in cincinnati were absolutely terrible. I'm surprised I didn't get shot at one Like TI's boy.

i will say this, if you don't like clubs because you Can't dance, that's not fair to the clubs. My roommates in college were like that. couldn't dance for nothing. So of course you're not gonna have a good time. But in this case I'm dealing with sorry clubs in this town

I'm white, therefore I don't go to clubs lol. Don't take it in a racist kinda way, though... cause we all know white boys can't dance.

I like sports bars and pool halls and the like.

The clubs I go to in Bmore charge 12 bucks at the door, and its all you can drink all night. Beer or liquor
