bike gas mileage

i am buying a Katana 750 and i was wondering how good of gas mileage they get?

i asked my dad and he thinks it will only get 30 mpg, i know it will get better mileage than that, but how much better?

looks like about 37.5mpg (considering you go 150 miles, and it holds 4 gallons)

when i was growing up this nice lady that use to tutor me gave me a 1986 honda cb 125.

that thing got like 87 mpg. man i miss those days.
