Big Three.. simple yes or no

Will it be allright to use 4 guage wires for the big 3? I see most everyone doing 0, and wasnt sure if 4 would give me much of an improvment. I will be running the **** in my signature, with 4 guage power/ground. Should I do it, or go with 0? I just dont like working with such thick wiring...

Thanks man, I am planning on leaving this set up for a while, so I didnt think 0 was absolutely needed, just wanted some reassurance.

The length of the wires under the hood are usually short enough that the 4gauge will handle the current with ease.

Not really that I "cant afford" it... Just didnt think it was really needed.
