We played music just off acces. for like 1 hour during the day, keeping the multimeter on the battery checkin it every once in a while, we turned off the music at like 11.5 volts. So were done working on his car for the day and we go to start it and it wont go, wont even turn over.. so we check voltage, 12 volts.. So we leave the hood open and i tell him to try again, he does and sparks kinda shot out the + terminal.. so we tried a couple times and same thing, and when the sparks came out the voltage would drop to like 4 volts real fast, then boost back up. So then we try and disconnect his HU, and then we go to start it and it works.. now we dont know, this could have been coincidence but we dont think.. We had to wire the HU weird because some wires were missing out of his car.Taking all the above into consideration anyone have a hunch on whats goin on? if it keeps happening were gonna take out all wiring and re route it.. but it just doesnt seem right.. he HAS started it with the HU on and everything..
