best hitting sub for 1.00ft3 sealed?

with only a cube to work with? I dunno man, that's not a whole lot of space or really enough volume to do anything loud with. Now you could do a very nice SQ setup with that much space(I use 1.25^3) but as far as getting real loud..I don't see it happening with that limited of space.

As stated with my 1.25^3, housing a jbl gti MKII and being powered by a bpx1100.1 I get loud enough for my tastes.

Alpine Type X 10" or 12" will work great on that small of an enclosure and have beautifully low extension. It's not an SPL sub, so don't expect it... not like you should be worried about that with a 1cf sealed in the first place.

Check out Page 3 of the Owner's Manual.

Take a look at the Dayton Reference series HO drivers over at partsexpress.com.

The 12s can work well in .8 cubic feet sealed. I ran one for a few months and the output from it was very nice, and very clean sounding. Plenty enough for me, I don't need a loud system, but IMO 2 of these would have very good output. They only come in single 4 ohm configurations though, not sure if that matters to you or not.
