Best Amp wiring option

Hey guys so got a quick question. I have 2 crescendo bc3500 gonna be running to 2 zv5 D2. My goal is to run each subwoofer on it's own amp. I wanna run each sub to one ohm. What is the best option for this and can you explain why? Should I strap them or gain match them and if so how would I go by doing this. Sorry still a bit nooby when it comes to certain areas. I also have 240 amp h/o alt with 0 guage big 3, xs d3400 under hood and going to have 2 xsd7500 in the trunk.

If u want each sub on its own amp u beep to gain match... strapping amps u have a slave and a master and they act as ONE amp
Can you explain the process? Like do I Daisy chain the rcas from the first amp to the second one and match the gains? I tried finding a vid on this but couldn't really find a good one. Thanks man

Yup, that's right. RCA's play an important role in running multiple amps/daisy chain on subs. On the "main" amp, that one is set on master while the other amp is set to slave. Or...just gain match each amp per sub. Really, it's entirely up to you. But you gotta few choices to choose from.

Okay thanks man I appreciate it. One last question. I've asked a couple people to use the Daisy chain method or use a y splitter for the rcas. Can you tell me what you recommend and why? Thanks. That's the only thing I'm really stuck on at the moment lol. Should have phrased the question better from the beginning.

I've seen this before but this is for strapping them together for one large amp. I want the two amps to run each sub individually so each sub has a final impedance of one ohm.
Ok so just hook them up like normal.....but in this case, you will have to set the gains to match.

Yeah i plan on matching the gains but when doing this do I Daisy chain the rcas to the second amp or just y split the RCA into each amp? Does the y splitter cause noticeable signal loss?

That vid should help ya....moves the camera around a lot tho. Hope that helps. So it's simple plugging RCA's in proper spots. Then the last pair of RCA's is where the sub output RCA's from HU will plug into.

Yeah I've seen that video too lol. He mentions Daisy chaining and y splitting. What I'm basically asking is there an advantage to doing one over the other. Or what are the disadvantages of each. sorry if I'm being a pain lol. Just wanna get everything right.

Both. So you have those 2 black wires going together then one coming out for the ground.

Daisy chaining I'd have the set of rcas coming from the headunit going into one amp then I'd have another set of rcas going from the output of that one amp into the input of the other amp and then I'd match the gains or I'd split the RCAs from head unit with two y splitters then hook up both amps. I was just wondering which one was a better option. Lol

Close. From HU RCA's to output on either amp.

Then small length of RCA's and connect those to input to input.
