best amp for single 12L7

kicker 750.1 would be adequate but the 1250.1 would give you some headroom for future upgrades.

yea, was planning to upgrade 2 x12l7 in the future. But for now i'm planning to run a single l7. Could it handle the 1250.1?

Let's hope its a dual 4, if so then later you will be able to wire two l7's to a 1 ohm load for the 1250.1...

for a single dual 2 ohm L7 this is a dam good amp, and at the price, pretty cheap / easy to add a second. Been using it in my wifes car on her L7 now for over a year

what I read on the 8100d is 500 X1 @ 4 and 1000 X 1 @ 2. So you can series the one dual 2 to 4ohm and get it 500W, then get a second and run them series - parallel and get 1000w X 1 @ 2ohm.

Either setup is slightly under powering the conservative Kicker numbers of 750 on those L7s, but they will run all right.

or you can save up another 25 dollars and get a kx1200.1 and run close to 700 rms a piece...
