best amp for a SI mag v4 for under 300?

Hey all,

I just picked up a used Mag v4. It's dual 2 ohm voice coils. Can run 1000w RMS.

I'm looking for a good, cheaper amp to power them. Budget is around 300, amp either needs to put out 1k at 1ohm stable, or can be a 2x500 at 2ohm. Or 1x1000 at 4ohm.

I figure finding a good quality 500wx2 amp or a 1kx1 at 4 ohms would be hard, which leaves me with something that can run 1ohm with the best SQ as possible.

I narrowed it down to a few, and wondering what would be the ebst choice? Also, feel free to make anymore recommendations!

-Sundown SAE-1200D

-AudioQue AQ1200D

-Elemental Designs NINe.1 (my first choice as I've run eD before)

-Hifonics Brutus BXi1208D

Remember, I'm looking for SQ with this setup. Would the eD work? Do the mags even handle 1k efficiently or should I bump the wattage down?

What about a Cadence TDA-1000?

Go for 200 dollars and IIRC do close to rated.

Will be something I look for when I do my next setup. Only heard good things about them.

Out of your list, I say Audioque, just because everyone else says Sundown, lol!

Do you know what the difference between the TDA and TXA versions are? I think it was a TXA that I saw go DC...
