if you want to spend the money the 500.1 will do the job, although the more powerful amp will give you room to grow if you need more power later. the jl amps are nice but ppl most feel overpriced. your call

i've never heard of "d4" - but I don't really keep up to date on the latest models

V4 maybe?

the 500/1 will do the trick.... or a nice large alpine, at least MRP-M850

It definitely says D4, stamped on the magnet i assume it stands for dual voice coil
