best 10" sub that mounts w/ 5.25" or less

right now im runnin 2 kicker comp 10's in some small stuffed sealed boxes under the back seat of my crew cab super duty. ive got limited space and allready have a 2 3/4" lift on the rear seat to fit the subs. i think these sound decent but im looking for something that hits a liltle harder with better more consistant sound. also im running a stock h/u right now, will my subs sound overally better with a good after market unit? also can any one reccomend a good set of door speakers? think its a 6x8 or 5x7

Don't worry about subs and speakers until you get a new head unit. The head unit is basically the brain of your system, telling which speaker to do what. It would definitely be worth your time to upgrade that first. What's your price range on all this stuff?
