[QUOTE="DDSC, post: 5656925, member: 577647"] Bingo, thats my thing with Hifonices, best bang for buck and if you know what your doing or you dont push your system that hard you shouldnt need a 3 year warrenty. All of my bigger sub amps have been hifonics and Ill have to say this. For the tank like build on these the 150-200 watts off is a even trade to me. The first hifonics amp I bought back in 03 was a bx1500d and THOSE things could take a beating, I say those because I went through about 4 of em. Now before you laugh realize this, they all lasted about 4-6 months before they blew out under the following conditions and this was the ONLY time I have had a hifonics get hot on me after I got the wiring right ive never had one get warm on me or go into protect for no reason 1. Dumbasses at the shop wired me up for .6 ohms on a 1 ohm stable 2. I knew NOTHING about car audio so I didnt know that running a amp full tilt while your electricals in the mid 11's was bad for the amp and I had stock electrical with some skorpion 4gauge that wasnt even 4 gauge 3. I was banging EVERYWHERE and I spent alot of time in my car because I didnt have to pay for gas, if it wasnt my parents house or a police station or cop car my radio was all the way up. ( I know typical poster boy for ban car audio, I grew up......a little bit:D) If I would have known what I know now and had the proper electrical I would be willing to bet that I would still have had that first amp now. Im actually contemplating running my 1608d at .5 ohms but Im still on stock electrical so Im scared. But what other company in the price range can you abuse for that long, it dosnt even have to do rated power just find me one company you could heavly abuse their amps for 4-6 months at .6ohms because as far as a warrenty goes, who needs it if your doing what your supposed to be doing with said product and it will take that much extra abuse???
