Big Brown is 5/5 lifetime. Right now he is racing on a doctored up left front hoof, which was likely known about in the Preakness, but disregarded. 12f is obviously a long race, especially with a sore hoof. You can't ever be 100% sure with a horse race because so many variables are present. It is clearly evident that Big Brown is a much better athlete than his competitors, but with his handicap, anything could happen in the race, the owners and trainers in this case probably don't have his best interest in mind, they're going for the Triple Crown even if it means running an unsound horse... hopefully everything ends up okay, but it'd be nice if Big Brown didn't win.
