Beer Drinkers - Miller vs. Budweiser

Personally, Sam Adam's blows donkey's when it comes to a darker lager type beer. You want a good lager type beer or German brew that is still domestic, get a Shiner bock or Fat Tire. Again this is all opinion but I've always though Sam Adam's wasn't that great.

I happen to like Sam Adams but one thing I've noticed is that every time I go to drink it (which is about every 2 months or so) so you see I don't drink it that often, I have to actually get used to the taste. Don't get me wrong I am a huge fan of stout beers (except when drinking a cold Miller Lite) but it just seems Sam Adams has a real BITE when you take that first drink.

Now, I tried their Cherry Wheat and I like it. It's different, NOT something I could or would drink all the time but it is a nice change in taste. So all in all SA is good but not something to drink all the time, same with St.Paulie Girl.

Where are you from man?? I should send ya a Shiner. I wish they sold it in more places then they do although it's getting a little easier to find. They keep doing really well at the National contests and it's selling better. Summer trip this year to Shiner Tx though gonna take me a tour of the brewery.

I'm from Michigan. So is Shiner the actual Brewer or is that a specific brew??

Actual brewer, the differents brew's are Shiner Bock(classic), Shiner Blonde, Shiner Light, Shiner Summerstock, and Shiner Hefeweizen , and Shiner Winter Ale.

IPA > imperial stout > stout > porter > brown > red > etc

if you want flavor go for an ale. otherwise stfu.

My personal preference. I dont like Ale i prefer lager. the 3 beer's I drink all depend on my mood. Any of the shiner's I will drink and I group them in 1 category, Fat Tire or Dos Equis.

ales and lagers are for different occasions.

i miss the frogs too. i also miss the bud bowl...

if I had to pick between these 2, definately MGD

It's cheaper where I live, and bud tastes too weak for me - I like to taste what I'm drinking.....

if it was an open ended question: heineken, coors light, corona extra.

that's more of a nation wide chain isn't it?? i want to say we have that at my local grocery store.
