Way overpriced for what you get. If all you listen to is rap and rap only, then go for them. If you listen to other music, WAY better options out there for same price.

Just by the reviews they've listed, I would pass. I'm not saying audio reviewers should be treated as gospel, but if I wanted audio advice I wouldn't be checking Time or CNN.

I've heard them and they sound really good to me. There's no way I would pay that much though. But then again I wouldn't pay much for any headphones

I listen to them few seconds at futur shop the other day. Imo, my hd-280 with midbass mod sound 10x better for less than 1/3 of the price.

nothing special about those except the fact Dr.Dre is a sellout

Just saw them for 300 bucks at the Apple Store online... I do mostly listen to rap, I don't know much about the head phone world. What else is just as good?

best bang for the buck is seenheiser imo. You can probably get some hd-280 like mine on ebay for around 100$ shipped. I haven't heard better even in the 300$ range at local store.

their impressive in every way except maybe lacking a little bass... but there's a mod that help a lot + some eq.

those match with my cowon d2= really enjoyable listening experience

+ 32 db attenuation = you only ear your music, not the world around you
