bearshare is the worst you can get, like the guy above said all it is is spyware and viruses. and original bearshare had a trojan in it, so i can never trust them. one of my friends used to use them until one day every song he downloaded wouldnt play and a text message would come up telling him to delete all the downloaded music becuase it was illegal and the riaa was going to prosecute him.

I got 2.2GB of music which I downloaded from bearshare, only trojans I ever got were from the zipped files i.e full versions of games
