Are you serious? We have 3 seniors this year. We weren't even supposed to compete for a BCS bowl let alone go to the national championship

yes i am serious, neither was OU. defense on OU loses DJ Wolfe and on offense they lose their second best tight end Joe Jon Finley and they lose Allan Patrick a RB. they have a red shirt freshman (top 20 5 star) to replace Wolfe, Grissom is a better TE than Finley (Grissom is a sophmore) and Chris Brown will be back. in the bowl game their #1 WR did not play as well as their #1 RB and they were without 3 starters on defense (2 were all conference). there are some Juniors but the VAST majority of the skill positions were freshman and sophomores this year. Plus their QB lead the nation in QB rating and he was a freshman.

now I'm not saying this as an excuse to why they lost to WV, but being so young i would kind of figure they would be more even keeled next year and not be nearly as undisciplined in a big game. If they played that way against Missouri trust me the Tigers would have destroyed them. i think they expected WV to be a door mat in the begining and then got caught out of position alot in the later parts of the game. I would also expect them to change some of the coaching staff by next season.

He is a dumbass, even the announcers said what a good year we had because of our rebuilding phase. So for us to come this far was a huge surprise.
I would take OSU going to the BCS game over Oklahomo's losing to WVU.

osu beat noone. best victory by a Big 10 school was Mich over Florida. bar none. i would even go out on a limb and say OU would have beat OSU this year. why? they beat better teams than OSU and OSU couldnt do what WV did:laugh: OSU doesnt have the personel nor the QB to do that with.
