I installed a XS power super bank (Capacitors) to my setup and I have the positive coming off my factory battery, ground in the trunk along with the super bank, but after driving the car for awhile the battery has a electrical smell too it, is it not good to have the super bank hooked up to the factory battery or am I missing something? Or should the battery be changed? The voltages are normal 14 volts while idling the factory battery and capacitor sits at 14 volts, while the car is off the battery sits at 12 volts and the capacitor at 14.
