Batcap 400

my friend is giving me a batcap 400 for practically free. i have a red top under the hood and a yellow in the back. im running an awt15x with about 3000 watts rms. what exactly does the batcap do (havent really looked up on it yet) and would it help me in my setup? if so how would i wire it up? thanks alot.

It's basically a battery with lower ESR so it discharges a bit faster than a normal automotive battery in response to changing current demands of the amplifier.

If you are already running two batteries, it is doubtful that you would see any benefit from adding the Batcap. You definitely will not hear a difference.
