I have a vw jetta 03 stock alt, 90/120ish at 2k simple.... I am running a batcap 2000 under the hood and one in the back in the trunk, fused properly and all that. I am running a DLS A5, fronts and a sub at 4ohm, so 85x4 rms and 350x1 rms so 700 watts rms at full throttle. My question is this, is 1 batcap 2000 enough to supply the car with enough power to run the system, and store enough power to not have any issues... or should I rock both... Or swap to a different battery and run just 1 under the hood. Im also going to down grade to 4awg power wire soon. I have 11in wide 7.25in deep and 8-9in tall to work with for battery space up front, for a single bat set up.
