[QUOTE="MROOD, post: 8879666, member: 678683"] So I had a Audi A5 I had a guy install my JL Audio 1000/D Amp to my 2x 12" subwoofers I think he tapped or spliced in to the original subwoofer cables and created a RCA connection via a RCA converter, so from Subwoofer cable to RCA so I can insert into the Amplifier, the bass was always deep and sounded great. So I bought a new car and got another guy to install my old gear, but this time via the original factory BnO car system the subwoofer level doesnt work. Meaning on the head unit I have bass level and subwoofer level, the subwoofer level doesnt work, only the bass level works but the sound is weak and doesnt sound bassy as before I think the guy tapped in to the door speaker cables and that why I get more mid bass and the subwoofer volume control doesnt work I think if I tap or splice into the original factory subwoofer cable then I will get the subwoofers working like before?> does this make sense?
