bass travel?

hey, i was wondering does a ported or seal box make a difference on the travel of your car?

a friend told me in a sealed box people would hear you thumping from far away than a ported?

how would i make it so the bass stay inside the car instead of letting it travel?

how do i do the opposite and make it travel?

I use deadening treatments to keep the bass inside the car.

If you want bass outside the car, buy an ice cream truck.

I do not.

It makes them either break into my truck, throw a brick through the glass, or call the law. All of which are negative.

No. Not ever.

How far the bass travels has to do with frequency and SPL and that's it. It doesn't matter whether it's from a ported enclosure or sealed.
