Bass Remote ??

Just got my system installed and i have a remote bass knob which is connect to my xx colous amp and i cant tell any difference when i have it at o or 18db is there something wrong?

probably yes

i have one for my rockford amp and from 0db to 15 or whatever it is db i can tell a BIG diff

my brothers hifonics brutus amp has a bass knob and it makes a huge differance on the bass when you turn it up

read those threads and figure out if you want to use bass boost or not, i leave mine at 0

^^ i wasnt asking if i should use it i was asking if mine sounds defective, well im gonna go mess around with it and see what it does. thanks

EDIT: Tested different cord and found it it was a defective cord so i had to get new cord and ran that to bass remote now it works. Also when i have it at 18db on remote and i unplug the cord from remote in sounds the same so im guessing just meant to be a volume control, ill use it when i see a cop...
