bass hitting hard and then

it gets weakr at times and then it hits hard again. It's not stopping its just flutuating from strong to stronger and then vice-a-versa. What's the deal...

I have a pioneer HU

RF 500.1 amp pushing a SB L7 12"

It doesn't do it all the time, but I know when it does because the bass sounds weaker and then boom get's stronger again....weird..

check all your connections and make sure everything is tight and what does your battery go to when the bass hits real deap?

I'm not sure what my battery goes to when this happens...I have a redtop and a RF cap. I also have a crossover. I thought that maybe the cap is storing the power and then shooting it at certain times.

maybe your box sucks and is tuned for certain freq

x2 now you blew the welds on the intake and some how lost a floor pan

not sure if my box "sucks", but I don't think it would hit hard at all if it was tuned wrong.

I try getting rid of the cap and see if that helps....

I am sying that You're lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake

what i meant was it hits hard only on a certain freq range so when the music isnt in that range it isnt as loud
