Ok similar post to the post below me but i feel its unique. My amp is clipping into protection mode during hard hits, but then unprotecting right away. She starts to make the hit, protects, then cuts back after the heavy bass and resumes playing lower hits.
Im running honda accord, 4g wire, solid ground, 15in L5 kicker.
Now ive been running with all the same stuff for 3 years never had this problem, it started on my 800watt pioneer 2 channel, the 4ohm voice coils bridged parallel (yes i know it was running 1ohm) this ran fine for a long time, as did the cheapo 2000w amp before it(still working btw) so i switched out the amp to a 400.1 kicker mono d amp(2ohm, great sound) yet the problem is persisting.
Im going to be looking at it tomorrow, and im putting my money on a bad fuse on the power line.(ive had a perfect looking fuse f with me before looking all innocent).
Any other suggestions when im looking at it tomorrow?
