Hello I have a 10" alpine type R hooked up to a quantum audio QCA2000D 2000W amplifier with a 2000W capacitor. The bass control knob is not working when connected to the amp. All amp controls directly on the amp (bassboost, lowpass, etc.) are all turned up, my head unit is on the "loud" setting as well. However, my sub seems very quiet. What I am wondering is if the bass control knob was left on low when disconnected is it possible that the amp's gain is still at the low level and thefore causing my low subwoofer volume or is it possibly another issue? If so, what can I do? Thanks.
