bang for the buck

i used to have a pretty decent rockford system, it blew. recently i got ripped off. the guy made a 200$ profit off of me. i guess you live and learn. i was going to get 2 JL Audio 12W3v3-2 12's. i have an mtx 1800w monoblock amp. i dont want to spend no more than 170 per sub. i thought id experiment with an 18. then some guy in the other thread told me to just save and go bigger. i can get an 18 now, or wait about a month and have both 12's. would the ma audio 18 be louder than 2 JL Audio 12W3v3-2 12's and if not, would there be a better alternative route instead of going with the jl 12's i can get for a better price and bump harder?

Im not sure bout it being louder but it would get way deeper

I heard one of those 1600wrms Ma 18's and it sounded good

look into AudioQue the make a good sub for the price
