In between the Eclipse AVN 6620 and the Alpine IVA W505 with imprint. here's the deal....

AVN 6620: pros-7 band parametric EQ

over $300 cheaper

navigation

5 volt low ohm pre-outs

cons-lower resolution screen disp.

no Time Alignment

IVA W505: pros-5 band PEQ or 7 band GEQ

(w/imprint) Time Alignment

lots more crossover settings

higher resolution screen disp.

cons-$300 more

no navigation

2v pre-outs

with these pro/cons which headunit would you guys suggest?? And also if anyone has experience with the W505 with imprint please pm me. I have some very user specific questions. thanks!!!

According to Alpine's documentation, the Imprint processor provides three sets of 4V pre-outs....so there goes one con for the W505, assuming you were factoring in the Imprint processor (which it seems like you were).

very true...thanks

Me personally, I would do the AVN Eclispe.

That is what I am getting the beginning of next year. Yeah the navi isn't the greatest, but I would rather have the awesome sound, which Eclispe's sound very nice.

The Alpine w505 is nice, but the price tag with no navi is a big no from me, plus the imprint is another 200 dollars........no thanks. I will say a lot of Alpine 2volts sound like other 4volt decks though, but again no navi.

Go Eclispe, well worth it IMO. Can't wait to play with mine when I get it..........even if it is a couple months away.

I went with the eclipse! got it for $699! It was on sale again at crutchfield for this last weekend only. its usually $799 there which is still a good deal, but $699 sealed the deal.....definitely happy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
