average 15" spl enclosure specs?

this might be a dumb question, but figured i would seek advice...

im considering building an enclosure for a few single 15" subs, i want to use the box as a tester, basically just throw about 8 or so different 15's in it and test them out at various times, my main goal would be SPL and this would be in a trunk...

is there a such thing as an average size and freq for a multi use enclosure?

Not really. Depends 99% on the type of car and where your peak is.

But if you want to just build a loud box, that will still do well daily..

try something like 4 cuft net with 60-70 inches of port tuned to 38-40 hz

If you are just going for SPL I would tune it to at least 50hz.

But there is alot of factors that come in.

It would strictly be for SPL.

Sound nasty for daily and could damage your subs pretty easy too if you used it for daily.
