Thanks to Xtremekustomz for turning me onto this website. I have to admit I hadn't heard of many of their products other than mother's and Meguairs when i went there. But I went and got the stuff he recommended to keep the car looking it's best and not causing any swirl marks, scratches, haze, etc during washing, drying and detailing.
Well I just finished washing my car today for the first since I got the paint color sanded to remove are the swirl marks, scratches and much of the factory orange peel, with all of the products I ordered.
The products left the best finish I have ever had on any car…EVER. No swirl marks, no scratches, no haze, no film, no water marks. NOTHING. It just left a pure, deep, black and shiny gloss. I was very impressed. And they were very easy to use. I had apply no pressure. I just glided the wash mit over the body and it wiped away the dirt. And then I immediately dried the panel with the Micro-fiber towel I bought for drying and got most of the water up.
After I dried it, I followed it up with another separate micro-fiber towel and some Meguairs Ultimate Quick detailer spray, and it left a spotless, high gloss smooth shine. No streaking or marks or smudges.
Here is a complete list of everything I ordered and used:
1.) Optimum No Rinse and Shine Car Wash (This stuff is incredible. After you wipe a panel with it, it starts to immediately sheen away and dry itself. You only have to wipe the remaining water with the micro-fiber.)
2.) 100% Sheepskin wash mit
3.) The Ultimate Guzzler, micro-fiber towel by Cobra (For drying)
4.) The Miracle Towel, Micro-fiber towel by Cobra (used last for dry buffing or for quick detailer spray)
5.) 5 gallon wash bucket and plastic grit guard (fill with clean water. After washing a panel, dunk wash mit in bucket and rub against grit guard to get dirt out of mit that can cause scratches)
6.) Wolfgang Deep Gloss kit (This I have not used yet, since I still have a fresh coat of wax from the body shop. Next month when the wax has worn off some, I will apply this kit. It replaces wax, and lasts much longer. It also includes a quick detailer that I will use when the meguiars one I have runs out.)
7.) Detailers bag (accessory bag I got to hold all my stuff. Very handy. Neatly stores everything.)
I ordered everything from autogeek.net. It takes about a week for everything to arrive. I highly recommend this site and their products. They also have tutorials for everything, from waxing to proper micro-fiber care and maintenance. Best products and easiest to use products I’ve ever owned. I will never buy from anyone else ever again.
