Ok guys, so I currently have a BB security system and was looking to upgrade to something with remote start and I have narrowed my search down to 2

Auto Page RS-860 $140 +S&H

Viper 791xv ~$185+S&H

I will also like to get the window module and area sensor that alerts when people get TOO close.

Whats the difference between these two brands. Is it like comparing Boss Sub w/ Pioneer sub or what?

is there a significant differnce between the two?

i've sat down and compared specs; it seems like the Auto Page has better options than the viper, Having said that I don't see what makes Viper all that special?

id go with the auto page. they are pretty solid. iv never had a problem with the alarm its self. being its installed properly it will last you a long time.
x2 i have autopage and so does my friend excpet his is the 2way beeper one and its great never had any problems with my autopage alarm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I have that Autopage alarm and I love it. The ONLY issue I have with it is that if the alarm gets triggered accidentally, you cannot shut it off for about 7 seconds. It can be rather embarassing.
