IMO, both amps had a very unique sound, very different from each other. Crossovers/gains/EQ were all set the same. I've never heard the VRx line, except in a demo wall so I can't comment on them. Honestly it was a nice looking and sounding amp, but the quality for the price IMO, wasn't even as good as my China-made Alpine. If you can afford it, which it seems like you can, I would go with the VRx line, or Brax or McIntosh.</p></blockquote><p></p>
