Why do I hear a popping sound when I push down on the cone (not dustcap)? I bought them used is this normal for hdc3s? Thanks guys

Yea i probably wouldnt push on the cone.

push on dc not the cone, youre shifting the coil by putting pressure on one side and not the other

I was pushing evenly with my fingertips on the dustcap and not too hard you can physically see and feel it pop at a certain point.I know coil rub and it isn't that clever suggestion on hooking it up lol
