Single layer 3/4 MDF for everything but the baffle, which is double layer. I built the box for the original prototype I had with the 12 spoke china basket, but the new proto has the DD basket, so the mounting depth is deeper with the DD basket and the woofer hit the aeroport. I had to ghettofab that MDF ring underneath the sub so that it would fit in the box with the increased mounting depth. The 6 inch aeroport is homemade, and is almost as deep as the box. There are no other braces, or rounding on the inside of the box at this current point in time. It's considerably louder than I expected considering the simplicity of the box, and the tuning.</p></blockquote><p></p>
