Audiopulse epic or RE SX

I can get the epic for 200 new and I can get the SX used for 200? Which one would be better? Anyone have experience with both? Thanks

Sx will probably be louder but I would venture to say the Epic will sound somewhat cleaner, especially if you need to cross over higher due to the shorting ring(s).

don't expect to get a good warranty on that Audiopulse like they advertise. However seeing has how you're in SD you can always pop by their buildhouse and make them make good on it.

ok, forget audiopulse. How bout the same used SX for 200, or a new SI MAG V4 for 250?

Well what do you want from the sub? The SX and the Mag are completely different subs. The mag is shallow, requiring a very small box, and is generally an SQ sub that can get loud. The SX does not sound as clean as the new Mags should, but are great for SPL purposes (I'm saying should because so far nobody has had one of the production mags, and probably won't until sometime in early october. They've had TONS of problems with their shipping company, lol.)

Also, how much power do you plan on feeding them?
