Audiopipe

As of right now it's a dd612 upgrade in the near future. That's my next question for anyone who knows about DD. That sub is rated 300-600 but I hear it's severely underrated.. wondering if I could push it a little beyond that
I ran a pair of dd608s on a saz1500v3 @1ohm tuned to 30hrtz with no issues at all

Oh you mean the 1300 certified it did on dyno?

Or the fact that cea only pertains to 4ohm rating, not 2 or 1ohm?

No. Cea compliant only refers to a 4ohm 14.4v rating, amps with subpar power supplies will struggle to continue making power when wired lower.

There was a Kenwood years ago that portrayed this to a T and was used on the forums as an example. It was rated 500@4 and 900@2. It was Cea-compliant.

On the bench, it did in fact do 500 @4, but it only did 600@2. Yet this amp was "cea-certified"
