okay Im on a budget right now and I need a decent amount of power Im looking at the audiopipe 3500d for my 2 18xl's now there daul 2's if i wire them stright of the sub and bridge them on the amp it will stay at a 1ohm load correct?

yea thats what i figured now, you think i can run it at .5 ohm if easy on it? gain like half way no bass boost good electrical and played for 15mins at most

not sure about strapping but if you have good electrical and play it like your saying it can be ran at .5 with an output of somewhere around 3700rms

okay cool now do you think I have them wired at 2ohm right now on a 2011 zx2500 do you think i will deffently be able to hear the power diffrence when i hook up this 3500 at .5 ohm?

the AQX 3500 will embarrass the kicker. Run the AP at half an ohm, i run them at that all day. I have a guy running a pair of 1500s strapped at .5 and theyre rated for 2. They are tough amps

Each is at .5 or .25?

op with that power since you are on a budget, make sure you upgrade your electrical in that budget also,esp at half ohm. magic smoke will be had

The aqx has the same board as the aq3500d v1, great amps.. easily .5 ohm and youll see upwards of 4k. if you can support the electrical.

half gain doesn't mean ****. make sure you have the electrical to keep that amp satisfied. its not that the amp is inefficient but it takes one power to get another power.
