It says to have the stereo at 3/4 volume and to turn the input gain knob up until the "input maximized" light flashes with the music. I did that with my Alpine CDA-9883 and even maximizing the input gain it still didn't flash. I thought it might be the weak 2 volt outputs so today I got a new headunit, an Eclipse 8051 with 8 volt outputs. I turned the gain all the way up again and the headunit to 3/4 and it still didn't flash. Finally at full volume it flashed a tiny bit. Anyway, why wouldn't the input maximized light flash? Could it have been the CD I used (Billy Ray Cyrus country CD was the closest thing) or could the unit be faulty or I need to set some setting on the equalizer or stereo? Any help would be much appreciated.</p></blockquote><p></p>
