Kicker is a cheap brand, i have a 3.1 with a alpine HU and i love it, if your music sound boring, then you need to add the 3.1 eq, your music will come to life.

I have audiocontrol products from the early 90 that work just fine. I would go with the Audiocontrol 3.1 or the 4.1

That's the answer I was looking for. At this point, I only want products in my car that will stand the test of time and are known for reliability, quality and durability. Audiocontrol specializes in crossovers, equalizers, processors, etc, so the 3.1 will be perfect.
