I saw a georgous blue and sliver graphics laced Tahoe this weekend at cruisfest, with probably $8000 paint job, $10,000 worth of interior work, and a chevy bowtie fiberglass shaped 8 cubic foot subwoofer enclosure for two 15 inch subwoofers........then i took a look at the 15's on this super nice ride.........and its exactly the same model sub as yours.....audiobling..........i almost threw up.

Audiobahn seems to be very popular with the show car/truck guys. Seems more often than not when you look at a pimped out vehicle, its sporting bahns. Of course, that's also usually the car/truck with the chromed luggage rack, chromed shocks, chromed dash, chromed valve stems, chromed frame, etc... Yes, Ive walked up to many sweet sweet rides only to be highly disappointed in the entire vehicle when I see the Bahn woofers. Makes me think 1) the guy doesnt know jack and paid people to build his ride, or 2) wait... there is no 2, only 1.

tru dat....usually if im at a sound off or show, and someone comes up to me and tells me about their system, or im at someones show car and they start telling me about how thier audiobahn subs are kickazz, I get a glazed look over my eyes and tend to ignore every word they say, while silently saying to myself in my head "SHUTUP SHUTUP SHUTUP SHUTUP" and nodding nicely to his meaningless sentences.

This install is actually pretty good. The particle board front baffle causes the SPL waves to evaporate better and causing an increase of about 4 Dbs. Also the duct tape is better than any amount of screws because it can mold over the entire edge of the sub instead of the screws only covering about half an inch in a hole of the edge of the sub. So the tape has more support on the sub. Also the wire through the front is just genious. It could probably be a good tuning on there that could probably blow away most ported boxes.
