I was thinking of upgrading my system with two AudioBahn AW1506Q Flame Q subs, Im kinda new with systems and I was wondering if AudioBahn was a good brand. Any suggestions on what kind of subs I should get is very welcome.

Audiobahn is a company i have little experence with personally. They aren't the best sounding but a very decent SPL woofer. I like MA Audio, Digital Designs, Eclipse, and MMATS to name a few.

if you're looking for a solid spl woofer, the 1506 is a good choice. not only is it the most asthetically pleasing sub i've ever seen, but it will take just about all the power you can give it and come back for seconds. The sound quality is a matter of taste. If you're accustomed to audiobahns and other SPL woofers, this will sound really awesome in the SQ department, but if you're of a more descerning taste, it will probably won't sound that great. Bottom line, if you want massive SPL and great looks and are willing to sacrafice some SQ to get it, this is your sub.

Also, check out the 1508....a little priceier, but worth it IMO.

I would most definately recommend the AW1506Q....they are very MASSIVE and from what I hear they have SPL out the ying-yang! Of course this is all of what I have heard. I am prolly going to buy 2 AW1506Q's myself because I want people to know I am comin' when I go places. I figure with the right amp and enclosure this sub will satisfy most if not all people with all of it's spl, along with a little bit of sq.

The Flame Q's from what I have heard are nice, but a little sketchy. My friend just got 2 10" audiobahn Flame Q's. 1000 rms. Anyways, they are like 200 something MSRP and he gets them for like 80 bucks from some online store. How can a good sub that hold 1000 watts rms be 80 bucks. I'm not saying anythign bad about them. In a week I can tell you exactly what they will sound like because my friend is installing them. I'm just saying quality might be an issue if they are around 80 bucks for something that big. Just my opinion.
