I have 2 10" Ultra Excursion subs and i'm trying to figure out how they will sound in a ported bandpass box. I'm going to be listening to primarily rock and maybe techno and bass music. So if you guys could give me a suggestion on the type of box that would be a real help. Thanks

Do not go with a bandpass box. These types of boxes of designed to peak at a certain frequency, and then drop off rather fast above and below that frequency.

Your best bet for that type of music is going to be a sealed box. I do not know the exact specs for those subs, but i'm just gonna roughly guess somewhere around 1.2cubes per sub. You will want to check that thought. Matching sub to airspace in box is key.

A bandpass box isn't going to give you nearly the response you would want for that kind of music. It's much more suited to music like RAP and pure BASS..

A sealed box will give you by far the best sound quality with your kind of music.
