Audiobahn "Dub" Series 15s

So ok lets say I have a two channel amp able to put out 500 watts RMS to each channel with the respective OHMs , I can put each channel to one coil to make a grand total of 1000 watts?

Or lets say for instance I have the same sub wired in parallel, running a mono Ch.

Do I run a amp with 1000 watts at 3 ohms? Or 500 watts at 3 OHMs to this single channel?

I guess I have to start looking for more info on this electrical stuff!

remember with abahn subs use the rule of 3......whatever the "rms rating" is divide by 3......
