Hey I need to know what should I get.. I want like BAD *** BASS.. Like I'm looking right now at the AUDIOBAHN 2000 WATT 15 INCH FLAME COMPRESSION SUBWOOFER MODEL AW1508Q. And that's a bad *** guy.. but I need to know if those other brands have anything else with Bad *** bass and with SQ and SPL about the same.. Or is there a sub that you can switch from SQ or SPL.. Well need info bro's

ok my personal opinion those audiobahn's are not worth the price. those subs are mainly spl with little sq. go with the Adire Brahma's out of the one's you listed. they would rip the infinity's and eclipse's a new one when it comes to spl and almost as good in SQ as the other one's. also they would tear up that audiobahn. those audiobahn's are 2000 peak right? well if they are then you would love the specs of the Brahma's 1600 watts RMS 4800 peak. if you got the money for it go with the brahma.

what kind of music do you listen to? if you buy the audiobahn pro compression sub, they're meant for rock music mainly...nothing like MAJOR bass. what's up with you people now a days? what's with 'i want BADD *** BASS!'

in my opinion, i think that's just terrible. when you can hear a car from 1/4 a mile away, and when your right next to it, all you hear is bass. i think that's embarassing. ANYONE can build a bass system. you want bass, quality...JLs all the way...JLs design on their subs aren't as new and they don't look as flashy as others...but hey...why fix something that's not broke?

idmax or brahma i dont think you would be considered very crazy at all for saying these are definately amungst the best avalible in sq..and the do HIT....they both would produce more low end bass than an audiobahn, the adire would be the guttiest (in the right box) of these on the low end still remaining very clean, the idmax would be lil lighter here but has speed to spare very dynamic and clean where the big ol' audiobahn will pound with lower diffinition and i truely doubt it would be louder i might be wrong but going from the 160 db audiobahn systems around me (they really do 145's-152's in comps) i dont think aside from the awesome looking shrouds the other 2 dont have you would be disappointed..plus i think your ears would enjoy the other 2 much better as it would also awaken your senses to something other than "just being loud"

No doubt that ABs are nice looking speakers. The basket is a tight chrome and all that but thats just a ploy they really dont sound that great. I would love a brahma myself as those are very nice subs. So I would say stop looking at those ABs and take a peak at the brahma's cuz if there in your price range you cant go wrong.

I would go w/ the IDMAX, due in part to the fact that I have not heard the Brahma in person, as of yet.

I have heard a lot of people on here rave about the Adire Subs but aside from that and their website, thats all I'd heard of them, but a while back I actually got to hear both the Shiva and the Brahma. Those subs are amazingly loud with good SQ...and **** you can't beat the price compared to AB subs!!!!!

Go with the Brahma!!!!

Have you people heard the Kappa Perfects or what? Go ahead and buy a sub for 40 thousand dollars, when you can get 9/10 the quality in the 12.1's.

Yes I have, several times.

The quality of the brahma is no comparison to the perfect. The perfect lost in every available aspect from output, to quality of output, to power handling, to enclosure size. The eclipse 8812 when dropped in the SAME box as the perfect, killed it also, in both quality, tightness, and output.

I myself can justify spending that extra $100 to get more power handling with specs actually taken out of car, better sound, and a woofer much less prone to blowing up. Some may not want to, but I have no problem with it. It is a sound investment.
