that amp is actually on of the better sudiobahn products....my friend had one of those pushin 2 12" type s and they slammed and he never ever had a problem with it....its a decent amp

True. It may not be great but it's a decent budget sub. I have one on my Type R and it does the job fine and never overheats after long periods of use. I plan on upgrading in the future of course but I'm in college right now and money is tight so it was a reasonable amp for my situation.

i ran the a8000t with 2 12" audiobahns (it was my very first setup of 2003). its a fairly decent amp if your looking for some bump...nothing insane. i think it will power a single 12" L5 fine. just make sure the settings are adjusted properly and you'll be fine.

i abused my a8000t by using the bass boost feature and the gain as a volume knob...*i know,i know, i didnt know jack about car audio at the time*. eventually, the amp overheated within an 30-45min of loud play volume. considering i did all that to the a8000t, id say it took a rough beating and still works today (friend uses it). its been nearly 3 years and still works fine.
