Audi

but that was due to the mechanics being ****ing douche bags

I loved mine and the AWD was awesome, better than the AWD system on the BMWs.

Also I think it outhandled my 4runner with 4wd in the winter, but thats just imo.

If that is case, I'd buy what ever holds the best value over the next few years and forget about what I thought was cool.
Like a Jeep.
A Jeep like a simple Cherokee easily lasts for over 200k miles, hardly ever breaks down, sells dirt cheap, and has 4wd.

Edit: I do love my Passat. Built in the same factory as Audi's and uses the same AWD system. I blitzed through this snowstorm we just had with ease.

My 'rents had a 2000 A6 2.7T Quattro, it was a blast to drive!! With that being said this was the last Audi my parents will buy. It was a HUGE lemon!! They had many, many problems with it and Audi was no help at all. I have instances if you would like, but it really was a blast to drive. That twin turbo was unreal when it kicked in. They bought the **** thing brand new and took a huge hit on it when they traded it in, but it was worth it to them to get rid of it.
