I'm probably accquiring a 97 Audi A6, which of course runs a standard Bose setup. Does anyone have experience ripping this out? I know I won't be happy with it, but don't know if I'll have the car for very long.

So...any suggestions on what can be done with this setup?

I've read a few posts about trying to wire up subs and an amp to a factory Bose system, and gotten mixed reviews.
